- I COMPLETELY despise Avril Levine now that I read you're article. I can't believe I was actually a fan of her before. After I read her "Ten Commandments" I was exploding with anger, and in the other articles she says DIFFERENT things. She doesn't party but she's also the "LIFE" of the party(I don't know who the hell would invite to a party). How is that even possible? and when you REALLY look at Avril, she doesn't even look okay. And this is not a "pet peeve" but it is a "Major psychotic hatred" of her. Avril is SUCH a poser, she is as fake as Jamie Lynn Spear's old goody-goody image!

- Last week my friend's cousin was published in "Bravo" magazine as a celeb look alike to noneother than... Ms. Lavigne. The girl's totally obsessed with her. Her whole room is in Lavigne's posters, she dresses absolutely identical to her and she even acts like her, oh yeah and God forbid someone speaks something against Avril infront of her. Honestly I think she needs to see a site like this one to actually SEE who her idol really is, how she's just a pathetic poser. I'm not claiming I'm more punk than her or that I can sing more than her... although my cat meows better in her mating season than Avril but meh... Honestly I never liked her and I was shocked when she won her last music award, I was STUNNED that among so much WAY better singers she won?! Either people are going crazy or she blew some of the judges which won't surprise me much. The internets needs sites like these!!! - Wow... I mean, I knew Avril only from the tv shows and videos, and I liked her just because she looked gorgeous, but after reading this, I understeand that she is a baby that could just not stand the weight of fame. I mean, if you just play your music and do your stuff, you can get your fans and your critics, but it seems like she lost her mind on trying to be not pop... L: We're glad the site uncovered the Avril hiding behind the eyeliner for you. You're right, she uses her image just like Britney does. I agree with Britney when she was asked about being a role model for girls and she said she wasn't those girls parents, but when Avril comes and says Britney is a bad role model and a 'ho' and THEN she dresses and acts like one, it makes me want to do this

not her image. some of her new songs seem kinda funny to me and i do think what you do is pretty funny lol i could care less what avril does. if i hear a song by her on the radio or whatever maybe i'll like or not.

in my first email that i sent, i forgot to say that pop artists copy each other like all the time :/ so its not just avril that does it. idk about amy lee. but it really doesn't matter to me if they're copying each other or whatever celebs are doing. i have my own life to live. And plus i wasn't saying that i hate your website, its pretty cool & funny lol the pics and quotes make me laugh. but like i said before i like avril for her music, even some of her new ones :P i don't care how she looks. if she wants to look like a slut let her. doesn't everyone have a right to be sexual?? even avril does even though she's a bitch, wannabe goth/punk/emo lol i do admit one thing that some of her clothes do look awesome but not all of them.

We don't have a problem with people liking her songs, we admit they're catchy and are meant to get people hooked, what annoys us about her is her "my style is unique" attitude when she's anything BUT unique. All the other pop stars and the mainstream rock bands admit their image/music is influenced by other bands, yet Avril claims to be original as she gets sued for copying a band from the 70's. It's her contradictions and her public persona which ultimately reflects on her music that bother us.

Whatever I was avril lover 2 years ago.I used to love her 'punky(!)' songs.After that I realized there's something called anti-avril.Since I met Green Day and other real bands like Ramones,Sex Pistols etc I realized that she's a poser.I never thought avril is punk when i was a fan.I'm guessing i was a fan of her songs not her.Right now i prefer to call her EWRIL.
If a person likes avril and they think avril isnt punk its ok to me.Cause one of my friend loves avril but never thinks that avril is punk.So we're still good friends.
But I cant seriousley stand that shit dude.When little emos or preps calling themselves PUNK just because they love avril.I really wanna kill em.

Hey first of all i gotta say my grammar is not perfect because i live in a place where they never speak english so do not mock me ;) It is a great website you made made me realize that Avril is not a "wondergirl" i admit that i used to like her but it was because she seemed that se have "pain" bck then and i "Liked" her for that but today she just seem like faking everybit she was and letted us down..
